About Us
THE TEAM
Peter - Head of Huts - Designer & Maker
Peter founded Cedar & Oak with the aim to re-design the traditional shepherd hut in a contemporary manner. Handcrafting each one using the finest materials he wanted to offer both an off-the-peg customizable range of huts as well as a completely bespoke service to bring your dreams to reality.
Peter is a trained Product Designer and has over ten years experience designing timber products for industry. After many years designing and making furniture, products and garden buildings in his spare time he decided to set out on a journey to create what has become Cedar & Oak.
He prides himself on attention to detail and coming up with new ideas and innovations to take great things and make them amazing.
When he is not designing or making huts he can be found road cycling, mountain biking, trail running, hiking, paddle boarding, snowboarding or baking. If you pop to the workshop you may even get homemade cake!

Fran - Deputy Head of Huts - Designer & Buyer
Fran helped to found Cedar and Oak and is an integral part of all aspects of the company from the initial designs to styling, sourcing the best materials and quality control.
Fran has a degree in Architectural Design, as well as many years, experience working in a design environment. She helps to make sure our huts are always stunning, finished to the highest standards and that they will bring a smile to your face.
When Fran is not busy drawing or buying she can usually be found riding one of her horses, gardening, sewing or exploring.
Olive - Head of Greetings/Team Mascott
Olive helps to keep everyone in check and will be the first to say hello to anyone that visits the workshop.
OUR EXTENDED TEAM
Our extended team is a little shy but they include excellent electricians, plumbers, joiners and engineers

Through thinking a little differently and utilizing the materials we work with we are on a different path to most other shepherd hut and
garden building companies. We pride ourselves on design, innovative features, craftsmanship and listening to our customers.

This is why our team is like a family and each and every project is special to us. We are committed to development, pushing design ideas forward

Each hut that we build is one of one, so you can be sure your hut will be a one-off. We dont have production lines meaning each hut we build is
built with pride finished to the highest of standards. We design our huts from scratch meaning there are no elements you have to have or
hidden extras like some companies. We design a build you a hut just for you turning your dream to reality.
