I'm Peter and I founded Cedar & Oak with the aim to re-design the traditional shepherd hut in a contemporary manner. I started by handcrafting each one using the finest materials in my workshop In Cheshire.

The company has gotten a little bigger since then but our values have stayed the same, we still only build one hut at a time using the best materials.

they are built to last, be warm, cosy, stylish and somewhere you can create special moments for years to come.

We build Huts & Buildings to be used as amazing glamping spots, inspiring garden offices, creative studios, crafting dens, extra accommodation, garden gyms or relaxing socializing space.

What our Customers have to say

How often does a project come in on time and on budget? Cedar and Oak did just this and more.

Our Shepherds hut is to be used as a home office but also has enhanced a rather neglected part of the garden. Peter built a

beautiful bespoke hut exactly to our requirements, complete with small stove, stunning farrow and ball paint finish and

lovely wooden floor. We were very pleased with the service throughout the build, Peter always kept us up to date with the process.

On delivery day the hut had to be manoeuvred over a challenging rockery, but this was no problem for the boys and

now the hut looks like it has always been there.

I would thoroughly recommend Cedar and Oak if you are thinking of buying a shepherds hut.
